Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley begins with your character working as an exhausted office drone at Joja Corporation when you remember an envelope your dying grandfather gave you years ago, which contains the deed to his old farm in Stardew Valley. You leave corporate life behind and arrive in Pelican Town to find your grandfather’s land overrun with weeds, boulders, and debris, ready to start a new life farming, mining, fishing, foraging, and building relationships with the townspeople. The main quest involves choosing between two paths: restoring the abandoned Community Center by completing bundles for magical forest spirits called Juminos, or purchasing a Joja membership to corporatize the town. As you progress through the seasons, you can raise animals, grow crops, explore dangerous caves filled with monsters, romance and marry one of 12 eligible bachelors or bachelorettes, and ultimately be evaluated by your grandfather’s spirit after three years.
