Valheim

Valheim takes place in a fictional tenth realm within Yggdrasil where fallen Vikings are sent not to Valhalla, but to a prison world that Odin created by casting his defeated enemies there and severing it from the World Tree. You awaken as one such warrior, chosen by a Valkyrie and guided by a mysterious raven named Hugin, tasked with defeating the Forsaken—powerful beings who rule over different biomes including Eikthyr the stag, The Elder tree spirit, Bonemass the toxic blob, Moder the dragon, and Yagluth the skeletal sorcerer. The gods have abandoned Valheim and it has become overrun with creatures even Odin fears, so your mission is to tame this primordial landscape by gathering resources, crafting weapons and tools, building bases, and offering the heads of the Forsaken as sacrifices to the gods. The game can be played solo or with up to 10 players cooperatively as you explore meadows, dark forests, swamps, mountains, plains, and the mysterious ocean seeking to prove your worth for eternity.
