The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim takes place 200 years after Oblivion in the northern province of Skyrim, which is torn apart by civil war after High King Torygg was killed by Ulfric Stormcloak, leader of the Nordic independence movement. The player character is nearly executed at Helgen but escapes when Alduin—an ancient dragon prophesied to destroy the world—attacks and initiates the return of dragons to Skyrim after centuries of absence. After discovering they are the Dragonborn by absorbing a dragon’s soul and instinctively shouting, the player is summoned by the Greybeards to High Hrothgar to learn the Way of the Voice and ultimately teams with the Blades to learn the Dragonrend shout, the only weapon capable of forcing Alduin to land. The quest culminates in traveling to Sovngarde, the Nordic afterlife, where the Dragonborn joins three ancient heroes—Felldir the Old, Hakon One-Eye, and Gormlaith Golden-Hilt—to permanently slay Alduin and save Skyrim from destruction.
