Sons Of The Forest

Sons of the Forest follows Jack Holt, a journalist and friend of Edward Puffton, who joins a PuffCorp military team searching for the missing CEO, his wife Barbara, and daughter Virginia on an island called “Site 2”. The helicopters are shot down by Jianyu Zhang, a former PuffCorp employee working for rival corporation Sahara Therapeutics, and Jack awakens with teammate Kelvin, who suffered brain damage in the crash. As they explore the island, Jack discovers underground bunkers, luxury resort facilities, and learns that PuffCorp secretly competed with Sahara Therapeutics over control of the Cube—an ancient artifact made of golden Solafite ore with dimension-traveling abilities that activates every eight lunar cycles, mutating everyone nearby. Jack encounters survivors Eric and Timmy LeBlanc from the first game, defeats the mutated Pufftons, and must choose between staying inside the Cube during its next activation or escaping the island by helicopter.
