Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla begins in 855 CE when young Eivor witnesses warlord Kjotve the Cruel massacre her family before being adopted by King Styrbjorn and his son Sigurd. Seventeen years later, political turmoil forces Eivor and Sigurd to lead the Raven Clan from Norway to establish the settlement of Ravensthorpe in England, where they ally with Hidden Ones members Basim and Hytham to eliminate local Order of the Ancients members. As Eivor forges alliances with Saxon kingdoms and Viking clans, she experiences visions of Odin and eventually discovers she is his reincarnation, while Sigurd and Basim are revealed to be reincarnations of the Isu gods Tyr and Loki. The story culminates with Eivor defeating King Alfred—who reveals himself as the Order’s leader seeking to replace it with a new Christian order—and trapping the vengeful Basim/Loki in an Isu simulation, while in the modern day, Layla Hassan sacrifices herself to stabilize Earth’s magnetic field.
